On a sunny Monday in April we started with a brainstorm, on June 12 we ended up as the winners of the Dutch national final of Social Innovation Relay. And what a challenge the road to our victory was!
With our idea “Young and old, strong together” we tried to create awarenes around problems regarding loneliness of elderly and youngsters in the Netherlands. With succes! It was a great experience to convince the jury and the audience of our plan during the final in Rotterdam.
We had great help from Jaap de Jonge, a business volunteer from NN. It is such an unique opportunity to work with people who have a lot of experience.
We really enjoyed our participation in Social Innovation Relay. We can recommend joining the competition: just look around and see all the opportunities which need social solutions!
