“At January 28, I volunteered at the William of Orange College (Willem van Oranje College) in Waalwijk, the Netherlands. I was there to give an introduction in social entrepreneurship to a group of fourth graders. These students were not regular students, they were part of the International Business College. This is a special track for students who, next to their ‘normal’ classes, want to be introduced in ‘business’ and modern foreign languages.
I think there’s no better audience for a guest lecture on social entrepreneurship than these incredibly motivated students. The students were really into entrepreneurship, some of them even had entrepreneurs in their family. So much about my lecture was a piece of cake for them. The social aspect of entrepreneuring, however, really was something new and inspiring. I expect some great ideas from this group of students!”
